Robin Moore, a good friend of Arthur Fiedler, is extremely well known in his own right. Mr. Moore was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1925, and received his A.B. from Harvard in 1949. During World War II Mr. Moore was a nose gunner in aerial combat. Later he became producer of several television shows, an advertising executive of the Sheraton hotel chain and a restaurant owner in Port Antonio, Jamaica. Adding to his diversified talents, Robin Moore presently concerns himself with his land interests in the Caribbean, raising pigs, and writing. Mr. Moore is the author of several very popular books, including The Green Berets and The Country Team.
