This booklet introduces Japan to you.
The Kyoto, Sento and Omiya Imperial Palaces, the Katsura and Shugakuin Imperial Villas can be said to be the symbolical architectures and gardens of Kyoto, each with its own historical background. We Japanese are impressed by the Japanese beauty of their simple composition which harmonizes marvelously with the nature. There is something which appeals to our sense of beauty.
This booklet is compiled with the intention of showing by color photos the beauty and the color these architectures have. Sakura Color Films are used for all the photos and they are chosen from many of those we have taken for three years.
